This impact entrepreneur meeting is organized by the Sustainability and Impact Club of Tampere Universities with Y-Kampus and the Continuous Learning project.
Meet Eerik Wissenz, an inspirational impact entrepreneur.
Eerik is Canadian-Finnish, with a background in maths and philosophy. At a very young age he understood how serious global warming was and that our centralized energy system is one of the things to change in order to reduce pollution and re-build a healthy economy.
With his team, he is developing a solar thermal energy technology for farmers, micro-entrepreneurs and refugees and it goes with an educational training. Their goal with GoSol is to build a direct solar economy.
Since 10 years, they’ve been working together in Mexico, Cuba, France, Mali, Haiti, Canada, Switzerland, India, USA, Finland, Kenya, Tanzania, Philippine, Brazil and Burkina Faso.
The team has recently released a construction manual of one of their model for free: https://lytefire.com/Home#guides
