TAYK (The UN Association of Tampere) and Complex (student association of Leadership for Change Master’s program) invite you to join a documentary night and enjoy a zero food waste menu.
We will be watching Iiris Härmä’s documentary “Leaving Africa” (2015) that tells a story of women’s empowerment, aid work and friendship. After the documentary we’ll have some time for discussing the topic as well as networking. The documentary lasts 1 hour and 24 minutes.
In the same week, the UN celebrates International Day of the Girl Child (11.10), International Day of Rural Women (15.10), and World Food Day (16.10) so this documentary night is a perfect way to learn about these topics as well!
The event, documentary and sustainable menu is free of cost for everyone.
