The changes in the climate and the desire for a more sustainable lifestyle are raising so many questions about food!
Why is it important to eat local and seasonal food? Does quality food really matter? Does the vegan diet really have an impact on climate change? With big weather events such as fires and flood, shall we expect food challenges? Can shared garden, local farmers and "rekko" circles be considered an alternative?...
Join us to share and learn about local production, farmers, shared garden, good food and also... supermarkets since this is where we all go.
Vivian Leung, founder of Food Techies Finland, and Tatjana Blum, Complex Ry member and researcher on sustainability, will join us to share their passion about good local products.
The purpose of the event is to build bridges between all of us, especially for all the foreigners that are living here and who are contributing to the dynamism of the city and the region and who wish to be more sustainable.
You’re very welcome in a space of safe and creative dialogue about a topic that matters to us all.
It’s happening on October 13th, 5-7pm at Platform6 - Åkerlundinkatu 8 with the support of Tampere City.
The conversation will be livestreamed. Join us on the P6 Facebook page on October 13th at 5pm: https://www.facebook.com/Platform6tre/
