Impact start-up: join +impact accelerator

Business as usual wont help solve climate change if not that would be done already, isn’t?

Hundreds of impact and social entrepreneurs are currently tackling key challenges in their own country or abroad with new ideas, new spirit, new tech or not, new approaches. In Finland, this movement is starting and it’s great to see that happening finally!

Stream Festival and Danske Bank have a great partnership for the next Stream Festival. Impact start-ups, if you’re based in Finland you can win a spot in the +Impact Accelerator in Stockholm & 20.000 DKK for expenses.

Here is the presentation of the competition by Teppo Havo, Head of Growth and Impact at Danske Bank, the accelerator organizer:

"As a part of the recruitment process for the +Impact Accelerator we are hosting a pitching event at the Stream Startup Festival in Tampere on the 3rd of October, 2019.

The 8-week +impact accelerator program in Stockholm, between October 20th and December 17th 2019 is your chance to take your business to the next level.

The application is open for all pre-seed startups trying to make an impact through circular economy. With the help of top tier mentors and the intensive 8-week program, you will learn everything you need in order to kick-start your business.

Apart from the accelerator program, all startups will have access to a coworking space in the center of Stockholm and are eligible for a relocation grant of 20.000 DKK provided by Danske Bank.

Be prepared to hold a 4-minute pitch and 3-minute Q&A for a panel of judges.

ABOUT THE ACCELERATOR
• 8 weeks long program hosted in Stockholm, between October 20th and December 17th, 2019
• Targeting Nordic, circular economy startups in pre-seed stages
• Danske Bank is providing each selected startup with a relocation grant of 20,000 DKK
• Startups get access to a coworking space in the center of Stockholm
• Access to world-renowned mentors who help participants take their business to the next level.

PITCHING COMPETITION
• As a part of the recruitment process for the +impact accelerator we are hosting a pitching event in each of the Nordic countries
• The purpose of the events is to select 1-2 start ups from each country to participate in the 3rd batch of the +impact accelerator
• Stream Startup Festival in Tampere on the 3rd of October will host the Finnish pitching competition: https://streamfestival.org/impact-pitching-competition/

FORMAT
• Each startup has 4 minutes to convince the judges
• 3 minutes Q&A after each pitch from a panel of judges"
