Meet Dora Tkalec: Permaculture, the future of sustainable communities

This topic discussion and movie session is organized by the Sustainability and Impact Club of Tampere Universities with Y-Kampus and the Continuous Learning project.

Dora Tkalec, a permaculture expert from Croatia, is joining the Sustainability and Impact Club at Tampere University this Friday.

She defines permaculture as "a holistic approach to systems design, grounded in three ethic principles (care for the land, care for people, and fair share), based on mimicking natural systems."

This introduction will be accompanied by the screening of a film, and it will serve in getting to know the ways and value of everyone’s positive contribution towards an inhabitable world.

Maija Mitrunen from Tampiiri Ry will also join us to present the students association to connect students with organic and local food.

The event is free and open to all!

Friday 24th of January, 16:00-18:00, in TAU Kesusta, room A05, close to Y-Kampus.“
