"Shaking traditions in Finland" is an online discussion with Finnish social and impact entrepreneurs happening during Skoll Forum week 2020 #CollectiveStrength
This discussion gathered around the table entrepreneurs from around the world and based in Finland as part of the Skoll Forum for social and impact entrepreneurs, the Sustainability and Impact Club.
The Skoll Forum was created in 2005 by Jeff Skoll, co-founder of E-bay, to support visionary entrepreneurs working globally to make this world a better place. In addition to the Forum, a foundation, an investment fund and a research group are cooperating together in the US and in UK to push forward the social entrepreneurship mindset.
For the first time in the history of the forum, Finland was represented in the events organized. Under normal circumstances, the Forum week is only open to invited delegates and all the sessions are then made available on-line afterwards. Due to covid-19, the Forum happened only online this year.
The Event enabled a one hour discussion with seven impact entrepreneurs who shared about their practice and experience with Finnish and foreigner markets. The discussion continued for another hour, where the audience (35 registered - 25 participants) could interact together and share their own experience.
This event is another step to bring Finland on the map of the global movement of social and impact entrepreneurship.
The Sustainability and Impact Club is part of the Continuous Learning Project funded by Minedu (2019-2020).
