I’m happy to answer your questions, introduce the Club activities, the curriculum and the agenda for 2020. It will be also an opportunity to strengthen our sustainable motivation before the holidays :-)
The Clubs is a course bringing you 5 credits in 4 months (1 session January-February, and 1 session March-April). You can participate to the 2 full sessions or only 1, as you wish, as you can.
Link to session 1 - club and challenges preparation.
Link to session 2 - the challenges.
During these 4 months, events / meetings will be organized usually around lunch time 3 times a week so you can pick at least 1 meeting / week. On top of this, every 2 Friday, from 4pm to 6pm, lectures / debates with special guests will be organized. Less events will happen in March-April so we can fully focus on the challenges.
With Sini Jokiniemi, we’re happy to coach you to make this experience a full success!
To join, you only have to enter the identifier number as you normally do with your other courses. In case of problem to register please send an email to evawissenz [at] gmail.com
The Sustainability and Impact Club’s intention is:
– to involve students in sustainable challenges sponsored by companies with final outcomes shared broadly,
– to create a dynamic and safe space where we can talk, de-stress and share ideas and concerns about the climate change crisis,
– to get to know inspirational solutions and meet impact guests.
If you’re not a student, the meetings, lectures and debates are open to you and you can be an advisor during the challenges.
Here for you a powerful and very recent example of how 1 student only made an impactful change in his community by using video to fight the impacts of gun violence on students in the USA. He cared, he created a useful tool, and his platform is now supported by Ashoka, the largest global network of social entrepreneurs. Read Carlitos Rodriguez story here.
