Permaculture is "a holistic approach to systems design, grounded in three ethic principles (care for the land, care for people, and fair share), based on mimicking natural systems.*" In this approach, energy resources and human intervention are limited as much as possible.
The word "perma(nent)culture" was created in 1978 by Bill Mollison and David Holmgren, based on the experiment of Mr Fukuoka with natural farming.
Every natural approach is interesting and there is sooooo much to learn in this field!!
Since it’s so sunny these days, why not spend the day in the countryside with people so motivated by sustainability that they built their own (natural) houses, created their recycling water system, grow permaculture gardens, are surrounded by hectares of biodynamic fields?
Next Saturday, you have a great opportunity to learn a lot about permaculture mainly and I really encourage you to join this event.
It’s happening on Aug. 22d, 11-19, workshops all day, activities for kids, cafeteria.
Venue: Kurjen Ecokylää - Rautialantie 419b - 37470 Vesilahti
