They events are announced in advance on their page or organized on demand. It’s usually 2h30 min. This Saturday June 5th it is a family event - 50€ includes 1-2 adults and 1-3 children.
This wild food beginner course is adapted to children, younger and older. It is aimed at the whole family. The course helps children and their parents to build competence easily, identify, forage and eat wild edible plants in a secure way. The course is designed to teach:
– Identification of 5 plants
– Selection and processing of the plants
– Nutritional value of the plants
– How to prepare and cook the plants
– Preservation of the plants
You will have the opportunity to taste homemade wild food treats and tea (vegan food) (with a French and/or Vietnamese touch) prepared by Lilie and Severine.
Severine Essex comes from France and has lived in Finland for 5 years. She has professional skills in the health field (fireman, paramedic, Red Cross and first aid instructor), expertise in natural healthcare (medicinal plants, massage, cupping, nutrition...) and in the field of acupuncture (M.D doctor in oriental medicine in acupuncture). She moved to Finland to combine her natural medicine skills and her passion for natural lifestyle.
Aurelie Mary moved to Finland in 2005, after falling in love with the Finnish natural environment during her exchange student year in Tampere. She comes from France, has studied in England and obtained a PhD in Sociology at Tampere University, where she worked as a researcher for a decade.
This course is a way to share and transmit her passion for natural eating, following a natural lifestyle and sustainable living.
