Nanso and Pure Waste have been recently cooperating to create clothes made of 100% recycled textile waste. This collection can be found in Nansoshops and online, Nanso is one of the best Finnish brand since its creation in 1921 in Nokia.
Papu(picture) was created in 2012 to bring sustainable clothes to our kids. They were clearly pioneers in their field. As a mum, in the beginning, it was a real investment to buy their items for our kids but they last so long and kids feel so well with it that we’ve learned to save for what matters.
Last but not least, Ruskovilla is offering amazing organic woolen items. Long john’s for winter, super cosy jackets, beddings, socks... It all started in 1981 when Anneli Wahlsten and Mauno Mattsson wanted to "meet parents’ demand for breathable cloth nappies for their babies". The couple started first a organic berry farm and decided to explore clothing to survive during the winter months. Their factory is now based in an old dairy, in Artjärvi, between Lahti and Kouvola. In Tampere, they can be found at Miraakkeli or Stockmann, or online.
