In it’s constant search for more and more tech, Finland goes crazy about 5G but what about side effects. Are they any? Can it be harmful? This conference is presenting the perspective of Prof. Martin Pall and researcher Mikko Ahonen who state that we should pause the 5G and observe the side effects first.

Climate crisis: towards extinction (and what to do about it)
8 December 2019, by Eva WissenzI have already introduced Extinction Rebellion and the Climate Crisis Coffee times they organize every Thursday, so no need to repeat.
During 1 hour this week, at Tampereen yliopiston Päätalo, luentosali A3, members of EX will give an overview of the climate change crisis problem, and then during another hour explain why nothing worked so far. They will introduce the audience to civil disobedience (and it can be a challenge in Finnish culture).

Vegan pastries

They also sell pastries in cardboard boxes (you can bring your own box if you wish).

Sustainable lunch at TAMK: continuing launching the Sustainability and Impact Club
2 December 2019, by Eva WissenzI’m very happy to announce that the sustainable lunch is evolving and continuing next week at the University campus in town.
Last week, Tampere Universities community welcomed a first lunch at Y-Kampus / TAMK with the support of the Continuous Learning dpt. But since students come and go, it’s hard to plan full lunches and we want to avoid waste, so starting from now, the lunches are becoming coffee, tea and delicious veggie snacks prepared by local and organic chef!!
